This spare part is the blade return spring and connects to the Hammer Cam. The cone end is the side that gets clipped to the hammer cam. These springs are the heart of the mechanical unit and are responsible for both driving and cutting the tape. This allows for the handle to snap back into position and cut the tape on the Manual dispenser.
